Hathi Gaon 🐘🐘🐘

Hathi Gaon - The Elephant Village in Jaipur 🐘 This place is home to 100 elephants and their mahouts. This is not only a fun place but an important place for the welfare of the animals. It was designed in 2006 and completed in 2010. This is basically a housing project for mahouts (caretakers) and their elephants. The design structure involves making a landscape that has been destroyed by its use as a sand quarry by local sand suppliers to create a series of water bodies. These water bodies were made to overcome the problem of scarcity of water in Rajasthan.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis auch wenn zähe Verhandlungen nötig waren um zu erklären, dass wir eine indische Familie sind 🇮🇳😊 und der Preis dann endlich angepasst wurde 😎
